Argos only pay theyre normal staff minimum wage so I wouldn't expect more.

From perosonal experience I know Royal Mail only pay mim wage for 18+ and they pay the minimum for 16/17 allowed. And last year they had 10 people apply for every casual vacancy they had!

Just checked RM and they say £5.95/hr, so 22p more than minimum wage!

Sorry slightly above minimum wage! They get a good deal on casual labour when they have to do the same jobs as postmen do!

it is minimum wage

also it is worth remembering with them they may advertise as say16 hours lus overtime they can tend not ask you if you can do the overtime they just give you the hours. and if you say you cant do the extra hours they get arsey.

i know this as i have recently worked for argos
