Help! I've accidentially sheared through my tv aerial (on the outside of the building). Is there any way to repair it?

Either rerun the cable from the aerial or alternatively you can put two of the standard connectors on each end (The same as the end that goes in your tv) and then connect them through a simple female each end connector. You can buy the bits from Wilkinsons for a few pound and they are very simple to fit.
You would need to wrap them in gaffer tape to try and keep the damp out

Aerial leads which are exposed to the wether should be wrapped in amalgamating tape rather then gaffer tape. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?menuno=118620

Agreed, also it is better to use " f " connectors to make a repair, they will not pull apart.
The best option is to replace the cable with new good quality satellite cable, far better than standard co-ax.0
