Google G1 phone.....sending/receiving pics

Can anyone please help. My son has just been given a newphone (Google G1) but weareunable to send receive pictures/music etc via bluetooth. When trying to send to his phoneit says' file not found'. He is turning his status on to 'discoverable' but for some reason we are not having any joy.

I don't think the G1 supports file transfer by bluetooth yet.0

If the phone has root access you can install an app called bluex it does what most other phone do as a matter of course ie bluetoothLightbulb Moment :idea: Sept 2006

Just remembered that if you install bluex i think you can receive files but not send them that is if you don't have root access and both ways if you do have rootLightbulb Moment :idea: Sept 2006

Thank-you all for responding. Not quite sure what bluex is, lol, but we shall investigate and see if we can sort it;). I guess we must be able to download it via the phone.
