Well done with this thread geoffky, just shows what a pr12k you are. That your bridge?
tommy...just goes to show what selective posting can achieve....your other thread was pointless just like this one.......stupid selective posting achieves what???? i might be a p-rick but to be honest who cares? ps did it wind you up that much you have to call me names :T:T:TIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Dont forget Geoff one swallow does'nt make a summer.Official MR B fan club,dont go............................0

Prices are rising. Up 8% since february.
Even the bears on hpc are in full blown panic mode.
Time for you to wake up and smell the recovery.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

A recovery would be pretty great for my parents tbf - transactions are so low though that there are still no buyers in that area (for someone wanting to sell transactions are more important than prices tbh - a high price is great for the ego but not so much if you need to sell)Prefer girls to money0

Oh how I laughed today. Was over in my local for a beer and was complaining that our savings were doing nothing. Jokingly said that I wouldn`t mind buying a couple of flats to let out. Little Miss business lady pounced on me and said that now was the time to do it. Clearly then, this is the bottom of the market. Better get a move on as prices clearly will be shooting up again, I don`t think.0

well 6 out of 10 people think the same way - is everyone else that stupid except for the people on this site?
Around 58% of people think it is currently a good time to purchase a home, compared with only 19% who think it is a bad time, according to the Building Societies Association.
Consumers now expect house prices to rise by an average of 1.6% during the coming 12 months, with 61% of people expecting a price rise and only 15% anticipating a further fall, down from 27% who expected the correction to continue in June.0
