Free Sky+

Hi,

I just moved into a house and they had freesat, i was told this was free with no monthly subscriptions, i also happend to have a sky+ box and when plugged in with the feed from the oringinal sky box, i had all the channels and sky+ recording facilities. Am i going to be charged for this? I am not connected to the internet and i am using the same viewing card as before (the sky+ box didnt come with one..)

I think you still need a card to record on sky+ box I think its a one off fee not sure how much as I dont use sky

Yes you have to pay sky £10 a month or get your own freesat+ box which is around £150 Or use freeview+ a pvr for around £80+ the better boxes costs more around £130
