I asked them about this and I was advised that the claim wouldn't change. I would just need to fill out a change of address form and provide my new tenancy agreement.

you can get it backdated 30 days!!

dont panic, fill in the new form it asks you when you moved etc, they will sort it out.

I went in to the Council this afternoon and they advised me, either the Council would owe me money, or the debt would just be cleared, The woman told me that I'm in debt from my old claim because I had been overpaid, but I would be in credit on my new claim, so it all evens out.

I have been given another form to fill in and they have already copied my new tenancy agreement.

This is a lession well learnt and in future, I will fill in forms as soon as possible!
