First Direct financial hardship query

I've read a lot on this site but I'm a customer of FD for 10+yr and currently unable to live on my current salary due to a recent split. In a nutshell my wage pays the bills and I'm living off my credit card for food/petrol etc.
I've had a few OD charges over the past few years and would like to claim, but I'm worried that FD will end my account if I make a claim for help/recovering charges.
Does anyone have any experience of FDirect?

They're not allowed to close your account because you reclaimed.I've read a lot on this site but I'm a customer of FD for 10+yr and currently unable to live on my current salary due to a recent split. In a nutshell my wage pays the bills and I'm living off my credit card for food/petrol etc.

First Direct put my claim on hold until the Courts made a decision, they also sent me a financial hardship claim form... I havent yet filled this out because I dont want them to manage all of my current debts.
Any idea how to respond? I certainly want to try to get my overdraft charges back but I also want to manage my own 'other' debts. (eg credit card etc)0 -

It's not a hardship claim would be my first response since failing to complete an income and expenditure form means that the bank have absolutely no way of finding out whether you are or are not suffering financial hardship.
If you have credit card charges then you should be reclaiming them
