Dont worry, when I went to Portugal last September every weather site going said 6 days of rain in the week we were going. I took 2 cagools each and guess what, we only had one day of rain and 6 days of lovely sun. They are not always right:j

Kinda lost what you expect from your post, assurance it wont rain, sorry cant do that, sympathy that it may rain on your holiday, again cant do that either, however I can lend you an umbrella if you want.

By the way, im sure you're interested, when i was on holiday, despite the forecast, it rained solidly for 2 days, poor me booo hooo etc etc etc.

If you want guaranteed sun, don't book Majorca at the beginning or end of the season.

i came back on the 5th and we had about 5 mins of rain in a fortnight and it was over 40c every single day, hottest weather ive had apart from the desert area of tunisia! no breeze either, id go if i was you as even if it rains a bit i cant think it has cooled down that much since i was there

I honestly don't understand the snidy remarks. I know there's nothing anyone can do about the weather, but if i'd booked a week off work and it was gonna rain all week, then I'd be pretty fed up too. Surely the OP can have a moan?!

thanks guys. does seem to look better on other websites. Im keep track of the bbc weather at the minute and despite it meant to have been raining this weekend, not a spot of rain anywhere for the past 36 hours!

how late can i leave it until i book a holiday departing tuesday? as late as monday?
