Twitter/Facebook Problem, is this possible?

Ok so heres the deal, I have a twitter account, I love twitter and use it all the time! My twitter account is protected for numerous reasons. Today I recieve a text off an ex which pee's me off so I update my twitter with Men? Do they ever listen? Now me thinking this is protected and the fact hes blocked on twitter too thought only my followers can see this. Turns out not. He texts me two minutes later saying dont diss me! Theres a facebook ap that lets me see protected tweets.

Is this true or has one of my friends done the deed and grassed on me?

I have found loads of articles saying that twitter protected profiles arent secure and can still be found but nothing on FB on how to view someones protected status.


Maybe I'll be leaving twitter! :rolleyes:

I would guess that either he (under another name) or one of his friends are following you so can see the protected updates.

The facebook app will NOT let you see proctected tweets if your settings are correct.

Do you see this on Twitter:

Your tweets are currently protected; only those you approve will receive your tweets. You will not appear on the public timeline. Tweets posted previously may still be publicly visible in some places.

Yep the above is what I see.

I didnt think a facebook ap would let you see it.

I hadnt thoguht that he could be following under a different name... but I dont know that hes smart enough for that...
