    I am definately going to try that recipe ty jackieglasgow - tried several times to make wholemeal bread by hand and failed miserably each time - even the birds wouldnt eat it! resorted to packet bread mixes in the end!

    Sorry completely forgot to post back. I didn't leave the bread in the oven long enough and it was a bit soggy. I having another go thsi morning :)

    I use one third each wholemeal , granary and white , Makes a well nice loaf and not dead duck at all !!
