    Good morning everyone,

Didn't manage to finish my tasks yesterday so will really try harder today. I have now three hours until I will drop DD off at friends and go listen to a lecture to finish everything. And no - I didn't go to the car booty :o

    So today:
    - Check online banking and pay something towards rent
    - Write letter to ex (again )
    - Write letters to creditors x4
    - Send emails to creditors x2
    - Check through all cash back and survey sites I have registered with to see if I have any money I could transfer
    - Cut grass
    - Continue working on spreadsheets
    - Start sorting out books

    Hiya HB

Do a quick check of the accounts and then a quick five mins in one room cleaning - then your list will be complete :)

Waves to all - catch up in a bit most of weekend spent in ER at local hospital with OH yesterday night and again this mornig for xrays - he had my DD fall on his hand and we thought it was broken  only ligament damage though DD feels very silly and her and OH had a laugh about the ER report which stated 'an 11 year old girl stamped on his wrist':rotfl:she didnt' mind admitting to GBH but didn't like being called 11 when she's 13!!!!!:rotfl:

    Waves to all

Fay, I hope your OH is ok!!! lol@ GBH from the 11/13 yr old!!!!

I have surpassed myself in the cleaning/tidying stakes, this is the first time I have sat down all day!! As well as bathroom & hoovering, I have ironed, baked fairy cakes, done washing, & ferried children to & from parties!

Went to car boot, not the intended one as there was a fair there instead (grr) but at the other one got lots of books for DD, and a jigsaw and a board game all for £3.50, so very pleased with my bargains!

And now the roast dinner is nearly ready, its wine o clock, got X factor on again tonight - hey, its all good!!!!!

Fay - I believe that the age of criminal responsibility is changing to 12 in Scotland - so tell her they were obviously doing her a favour to keep her out of the slammer!

Today has been fun. My in-laws came up for the day and FIL fitted a new kitchen tap so we finally have drinking water on tap! We still have our old grotty sink though.:o We also went out for lunch and a ride on a miniature train, all paid for kindly by FIL.

    1) Hokey cokey
    2) SC 50p + 10p + 25p
    3) Kids dinner is leftover pizza from last night. Sandwich for me as still stuffed from lunch.
    4) Checked banking
    5) LSD - pint of milk and a glass of wine. Not together, that would be foul.

OH's parents have taken pity on us and offered to lend us money to sort out our minging kitchen. It needs absolutely everything replacing, including the plaster. A year ago I would've jumped at the chance, but now I would much rather put up with the grot until we can afford to pay for it ourselves. I think I am a changed woman

Thanks Bagpuss for your lovely PM - I've PMd you back.

    Have a good evening all,
    L x
  • Lurleene - go you and your change of the way you think - you sound very determined well done

MC - yup OH is OK - bit sore but driving the 6 hour drive home now - lol - weekends go very quickly and we wont see him again for 3-4 weeks

    He's 6ft 1 and about 16 stone, she's a 5ft whippet at about 5 1/5 stone - DD told him she thinks he had a case of 'man-flu' sorry shes meant 'man-wrist'!!!!!!!!!!
