Thinking of Building a HYP

High Yeild Portfolio.

Guys,

i am thinking about dabbling with a few k and building a HYP.
Is there a simple website where you have the ability to view all companies in the FTSE 100/250 wich shows the Dividend Yeild the Projected Yeild and the Dividend cover?
I have something on the MSN money site but this seems to only be for the DOW JONES, this is quite good though as you have the ability to select High Caps, and high yeilds and the ability to order the search.

Many thanks

John

  • As a rough guide I use thisismoney, however its not entirely up to date, some co.s have reduced or cancelled divs. But gives a quick scan of allshare and sectors.
Then check out selected individual co.s via brokers

Also look at the Invesco Perpetual High Income fund. One of the posters here regularly used to mention HYP until I did a comparison of the two and showed that the first HYP built over at the Motley Fool had been outperformed by the fund.
