Unbelievable price increases !!
I have been with Atlantic energy on their dual fuel, monthly direct debit tariff since late October 2003 - about 2.5 years. I think Atlantic are fairly typical, although the May 1st price rise was a bit of a surprise.
Gas prices have increased 79.5% and electricity prices by a slightly more modest 67%. These are even higher than the extortionate council tax rises.
I hadn't realised how ridiculously high prices have got. Are we expecting prices to drop in the near future ?
