Hi,
Make this simple
Mortgage is £79,000
and need a £95,000 mortgage
It is within our means and money would be spent on the House itself!
I do have a CCJ which is still being paid, I know this will go against me,
But is anyone lending , even if you have a CCJ
CCJ was in 2004 for £5740
Its down to £2700 now, but is ongoing, payments have been ontime always!
But what to do???
Where to go???
any help?
k.

How are you going to afford the repayments on the additional £16,000 of mortgage borrowing if you've got a CCJ against your for an unpaid debt that was originally £5740, and is now only £2700? Pay off that £2700 before even considering borrowing any more money."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Parts of the house are in repair!
A re-mortgage is my only answer, I pay the CCJ a agreed payment each month and on time.
I cant wait for the windows to fall out, to repay the CCJ.

CCJ payment is £40.00 per month.
Net household income is £1780.00 per month
Wife has 2 active CC cards
Payments are £250 per month paying off.If you want to see a rainbow, you have to get used to the rain.0 -
Even if there was a lender that would ignore the large CCJ, then your household income doesn't really support the larger mortgage.
Take a copy of your credit file to an independent, whole of market mortgage broker for them to have a look for you, see if anything can be done, but my gut instinct says that get the CCJ paid off, overpay it if you can, get rid of it!I am a Mortgage Adviser
