Hi. I'm looking to buy a iPod Touch 32GB. What offers are the best at the moment (NEW) as most stores sell it the same price (so any discounts out there or FREE Cases?)
Also what are your TOP 5x Free (or Cheap) Apps that I should look at getting once I get my iPod?
Cheers

Why not use a cashback site like Quidco and see if you can get money back on your purchase?

For a cheap 32gb Touch keep an eye out in the refurb section of Apples website. I got my 2g for about £230 after Quidco. It came with the same 1 year warranty as a new one and indistinguishable from a new boxed one. The unit came boxed with all the accessories and and no one can tel the difference.
So good that I bought the GF an 8gb one.

They haven't got any 32gb in at the moment, but keep checking.
My favourite free apps are:
Facebook
Sky News
Sheep Launcher
Flixter
PandoraBox
Ebay
Cube Runner
Tube Map
Google Earth
Stanley Spirit Level
My favourite paid for app at the moment is Mobile Air Mouse. Ideal for Windows Media Centre and plugging the laptop into the LCD TV.My farts hospitalize small children

The 3rd gen has faster hardware and comes in larger storage capacities.
Rumours still abound that Apple may release a version with a camera before long. The 3rd gen has a camera-shaped space on its circuit board right where a camera would go.0 -

IMHO, I don't think there is enough of a difference to justify paying a premium over 2nd gen.
Notably a faster processor (supports OpenGL 3D). Not that the 2G was a sloth. If your planning on playing games you might consider the 3G. The 3G also sees the arrival of the 64gb model. I personally don't like playing games on the iPod. Prefer the PSP.My farts hospitalize small children

I'd hardly say there was a premium associated with the cost of the new models.
I paid $299 for my 16 GB 2nd gen. For the same price today, I could get a 32 GB 3rd gen.0
