iphone ring tone help

i recently got an iphone 3gs, and am struggling to change the ringtone to a tone from my music collection. i have watched a few videos on youtube, but so far have not had any success.

im using itunes v9 (latest update) and windows xp.

any help appreciated.

When you find out how to do it can you let me know. Most of these tutorials don't seem to work that well.

And that's the reason I like my Nokia, I simply pick a tune, press options and then "use as ringtone"

And you don't have to use evil itunes to put music on to it...
