My 2 points are thus ~
All digital cables are NOT the same
Even the more expensive cables were directional

In that case, here's a link to the best digital cable in the world:

    aka a wire coat-hanger.

You just keep pulling them up Marty. Personally im not even reading them. I believe a simple reading of jitter is proof enough that they arnt the same

Just curious, but how do you account for actual 'measured' changes in jitter then if the ONLY thing that was changed were the cables? (Tried both ways round). Or do you think the experiment (That was tried FIVE times on EACH cable both ways with the EXACT same results in each case) is just made up?

    I'm not sure.

But given the fact that interconnects use an alternating current, I fail to see how cables could be directional. The current moves in both directions, regardless of what way round the cable is.

Even if there was such a thing as a directional cable, it wouldn't be a desirable thing to have.

It's all explained in the links I provided; if you have an interest in hifi, I'm sure you would find them interesting reading.
