Ok this is really embarrasing
I lost Hubbies driving licence due to bad memory. I knew it was somewhere "safe" but couldnt for the life of me find it.
so this morning Hubs ordered a new one online.
I have since found the licence (woo hoo) so got hubs to ring and see if they could stop the transaction.
He was told that unfortunately the trans had already been processed and put through to DVLA ( was originally done through directgov site)
So is there anyway i can get the process stopped and get a refund or shall i put it down to an expensive lesson learnt?
any help really apreciated

Expensive lesson learnt.
Government agencies are a law onto themselves. If they did something wrong then it would be worth fighting it but it's not worth the effort for a mistake on your part as they did nothing wrong.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
