Dont forget if you were due to get a IPA they would contact you regarding it near the begining of the BR or a few months in, if they have not contacted you maybe they feel your not financially able to pay. If your circumstances change during your BR you have 21 days to inform them, they will probably put a IPA in place at that point.
I am one of a few who did not get any IPAQ forms to fill in before my ED. All I got was a letter 10 days after I was discharged telling me I was.
If you can afford to pay a IPA then you should, although I can understand any feeling of it prolonging the effects of BR leaving you feeling not able to get on with your life.
Although me personally on my wage would have never been able to afford to pay a IPA, my OHs business is going from strength to strength now, he origionally lost a third of his clients between the period of november to june due to the recession, during August he picked up around 2 clients a week and same so far for september, and i will be honest and say I AM GLAD WE HAVE NO IPA as i do feel we can now move on. But, we never kept anything about our income from the Trustee and I feel happier that we were honest0 -
Yo pleased everything has turned out good for you nervousmother0

Fermi is correct (as always) that they will not suspend discharge for not returning I/E details. They can try and enforce an IPO at which time you will have to provide the court with I/E details and not complying with the court is not a good ideaHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

So will i have to pay back an amount each month then as my income is incapacity benefit, dla, child tax credit, child benefit.i have 2 children and my 12 yr olds dad pays 125 pounds a month to me for her.is all this income counted towards paying something back?
i understand if it is but i was working 6 days a week before i got ill and alot of my debt was to keep a roof over my daughter and my head at the time.0 -
lady - If your income is soley or mostly made up of benefits they cannot make you pay an IPA. The most they can do if you have a large surplus is ask you for voluntary payments, which you can refuse to pay0

thankyou Richestorag.i would happily pay some voluntarily if i can when its all worked out.0

as i am ex navy i say never volunteer0

I wouldn't volunteer to pay anything back either. You need that money to support your family and to cover any emergencies that might come up.
