Also my walls are rubbish so may have to fix it to ceiling!! Please help!

If you have to fix it to the ceiling then surely a simple hook through the ceiling into a cross beam will do ?
The hook type i am thinking of is the type used to hang up garden tools, you can get them cheaply from diy stores.
they are a bit like a big cup hook.
You would then need to suspend some rope etc from the hook to connect the bag to unless you have a very tall daughter !
You should be able to do the same thing - hook into a wall even on a new house there are support beams.
But you do need to be careful to ensure you miss any wiring

What I am scared of is her pulling it down and it hurting her, I will prob only use if for soft toys.
Wouldn't suspending it from rope cause it to twist?
thank you very much for your suggestions I shall pop to the diy store and see what I can find in the way of big garden hooks!
(My daughter is only 3 - in March, so have to ensure its safety!! I can always give it to my 12 year old sister who isn't likely to try and sleep in it!! ;D)Angel

It should be a case of puting a rawplug into your wall/ceiling and then using a screw-in hook which should easily support the light weight. The only thing you need is a drill to put the hole in the wall.Don't ask me, Im SKINT0
