With their Club 55 offer, valid for travel until 12th December 2009, you can travel anywhere on their rail network for just £15 return.

No advance booking required. Just take proof of age.

Over 55 and want to travel with Arriva Trains in Wales? DON'T BOTHER! These tickets don't exist....well not if you wish to return home on the same day! Just tried booking 10 different journeys from Shrewsbury and whilst I can get the £15.000 deal outwards, NONE exist for the return journey on the same day. Seems Arriva want you to book a hotel for a night however the original promotion mentions nothing of this. Arriva are taking the mickey and wasting MY TIME. Never again; I'll stick to the car.

BTW. Telephoned the number on the website these people can't apparently access tickests for you however she confirmed that tickets were essentially one way one day and return the next.

WHY DON'T YOU MENTION THIS IN YOUR MARKETING!
