War Pension - Unemployability Supplement

I was made redundant at the beginning of this month, while I was signed off work recovering from an operation (an elbow replacement), and I’m currently signed off by my GP as being unable to work due to rheumatoid arthritis. I receive a war pension at the 60% disability rate, together with a small occupational ill-health…

Just a quick update, I had a letter from the SPVA agreeing that I did qualify for the supplement to the war pension. This is a complete relief as I will be able to keep paying my mortgage, as I was really worried about being made homeless.
