Morning ladies and bumps. I'm so bad, didn't get to work today. I even set off but got half way there and couldn't face it
Had a bit of a row with DH when he got in from work just before I set off and just was crying on the way to work so decided to come home again instead. Sure we'll just make up as soon as he gets up but feeling a bit crappy now.
Also totally forgot that I'd placed an order with abel & cole, the organic veg box people to arrive today. So I now have loads of extra food cos I did that massive shop at the weekend, and I have almost no room left in the freezer. Don't know what I'm going to do with it all. Annoying when I'm trying to save money too.
Hope everyone else is doing ok today.
Always did you get checked out? Hope you are ok0 -
Morning everyone.
Im am so tired, i dont understand why people need sky at 8:30am
Thought i felt the baby move last night, i was laying down about 1/4 asleep lol. And i felt something that felt like a twitch/nudge in my tummy by my pelvis, it made me jump lol.
The ASDA online 'sale' is poo. They have nothing in stock
And the one maternity item they have is only in a size 8
I should of got it and squeezed into it :rotfl:0 -

Yey EA for feeling baby move!!
Nanc that's cool about the baby shower! My sister had mentioned doing one for me when I first got pg but not mentioned it again. Not sure if I want one though so I'm not mentioning it to her!0 -
Morning all.
SJ - I didn't get to work either! DS had a bad tummy last night so have kept him home from school today. He's not too happy as he's got a dress rehearsal for his school harvest festival play today, but he's so pale and his dinner went straight through him last night  so didn't think it was fair to send him. I've said that it's best for him to be home today and be back at school, fit & healthy for the proper performance tomorrow. He's word-perfect so no worries there :T My boss wasn't too impressed when I phoned in to take emergency leave today but there's no-one else I can leave him with (nor would I want to when he's ill!) OH took the best part of 2 weeks off with him over the summer when he had chicken pox, so it's definitely my turn!!
Am having one of those "Don't feel pregnant" days today  stark contrast to yesterday, when I felt lightheaded and uncomfortable all day. Roll on that 1st scan!!
Merfe - best wishes for today, will be thinking of you. Keep us updated xx
32B - Was so pleased to hear that your sis is making progress, all the best to you and your family xx
Fernliebee & Mermaid - welcome, welcome, welcome!!
EA - I was about 18 weeks when I felt DS move for the first time, such a lovely feeling. In fact, after he was born I missed feeling him wriggling around if that makes sense! I used to love it when he got hiccups, such a weird feeling0 -
Portsmouthali - Well im 19+2 now, and i haven't any other movement since last night
I still have days where i dont feel pregnant, i have to stick my doppler on to 'make sure' lol. (to be honest i'd still do pregnancy tests if OH would let me) lol!
Do you have your first date scan yet?
My sister is doing a baby shower for me, we spoke about it yesterday lol x0 -

My dr won't prescribe Gaviscon unless you are having chronic problems with heartburn. If it's just for general pregnancy discomfort and heartburn then you have to buy it. I know loads of peeps on here have got it on prescription though!
I have so many stretchmarks- it's depressing if I think about it:o. I have used bio oil everyday, and I do believe it's made them less dark, but I now also believe that if you're gonna get them then there is nothing you can do. I am just very bitter as I had none till about 30 weeks and now they are growing by the day.
LOL its ok
Hmms lol I bet my dr is one of the meanies lol, I am spending a fortune on the stuff and on rennies and I really cant afford it
Aww stupid stretch marks!!! OH was like dont worry they will go away I was like !!!!!!, they will leave a mark you douche lol, I wonder if the Bio Oil helped at all? I know its part and parcel of having a baby but I didnt think I would get any yet
3tb - I can bet your dad wanted to knock him out, its a !!!!!!! joke
GISI - I am loving the bump pic and the PJsI want some
SJ - Primark have some lovely fleece ones and I am curently wearing them under the bump and they stay up
Glam - I have repliedxxx and yes 3 of us for sure have our scans next week, mon, tues and wed, tehre might be more as well
I have been convinced I am team pink all the way but I am not 100% I am team pink anymore (and secretly, but not so secretly now lol I would love to be team blue)
SJ - Aww I am sorry you had a row with OH it must be the day for it, cos I did too with OH in the car this morning, I hope you and OH sort it out, is he in bed at the minute?
EA - I was gutted with the online sale as well cos like you say there was NOTHING in stock and I dont want to go tot he shop cos I will see loads of team blue and team pink stuff which I cant buy yet lol
