Wanting to Buy a Large Item on Ebay-Can Collect but Seller wants p&p Costs?!

Now if I was still selling on ebay I would do the same.

The caveat being, pay in cash (ie NOT Paypal) and the post and packing charge would be removed.

Is he doing the same?

He hasn't said anything about paying with cash- Strange how he hasn't mentioned it! I wonder if he will in his next email?!

I can't believe that he would still keep the full p&p charge and loose out on £330 sale :eek:

Aye especially if he keeps the P+P charge, there would be no way I would pay by cash then.

Well his lost my business! I've found a seller who has the same costs but without the p&p charge

Just received a reply (I have tooooo much time on my hands today )

He is now saying that yes we could collect to save on postage but we would need to pay cash and that we would also need to pay a deposit so he can order it in

I think I'll shop elsewhere!

I think they are the same person as they have the same phone number. Unless they havent realised the phone number is on there!
