Im sure it was something to do with that you hadnt saved a big enough deposit, or wouldnt have a big enough deposit until 2010, what actually was it?
nevermind hey, maybe when the general election happens, the conservatives will come in and crank the inteerest rates up, just so you can get a house, oh wasnt it may 2010 when you will be ready to buy.
Some people post what they want to happen, when in reality they know they are fighting a losing battle.
Take no credit for the 'thanks'. I just pressed the wrong button. Your response scored about 8 on the 'chippy' scale. I think the answer to your angst might be explained by your posing name.0 -

easy tiger. No I'm not, are you looking for house? Is that ok?"For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0 -
On a more serious note what about housing stock, Available Stock and future building plans etc.
They all will have an impact on HPI or HPD (HP deflation)
Theres a shortage of houses by me the only ones that seem to come up are the crap ones, amd people are still asking top wack for them.0 -
Interesting that you should choose an aspirational ID.new_home_owner wrote: »Theres a shortage of houses by me the only ones that seem to come up are the crap ones, amd people are still asking top wack for them.0 -

Of all the people I know that has been made redundant in the last year only one has been re-employed. The others who are within Construction are getting bits here and there and are mostly relying heavily on their savings. I am talking about people who were Directors and Contract Managers. In addition the others that I know worked as a Teacher training young offenders has not found a job and my friend who is looking for anything albeit she has a degree in Journalism. All this has got to have an effect on house prices. I really don't think they will be rising any time soon!0

Perhaps Hoping_To_Move would have been more apt?new_home_owner wrote: »Im hoping to be a new home owner, well to be honest i own a house already, im after my second one at the moment.0 -
