New BT number - will online account update?

Hi,
I have just had my number changed by BT as moved into new house and owner did not take her number with her. Does anyone know if (and when) the phone number that is showing on my online account will change to the new one? It's currently showing as the old one but was changed over on early Thursday morning.
Does my account number stay the same?

Hi Donna,
I'm not sure if I put my query across correctly - I have moved into a new house and applied for a new account with BT (as I have never had one before). The number they gave me was the same as the previous owner but I wanted a different one. I called up and they put through an order for me and the number changed over on early Thursday morning.
I have not moved house so to speak, just wanting to know if the online account will update to show the new number instead of the previous one while keeping the same account number (if that makes sense?)

Whoops - Just found that I can edit the phone number in the "accounts" section of the "my profile" on the website. Number changed myself - Sorry about that!!
