How about a bottle of champagne, as long as he has plenty of people, best man, ushers etc to help him drink it so he doesn't turn up bladdered!

Drink is out the question with him being disabled and on medication which dont allow it.

Have just found the lyrics to his fav Metallica track nothing else matters and typed the key lines onto the scroll on the message in a bottle, having to keep switching pages as he keeps asking what im up to lol.

He will love it, I guarantee it! :D

What message in a bottle is it? Does the scroll come inside the bottle?

    Naff cufflinks here. :p

OH does wear cufflinks, and when we get married we're going to have the same initials (we'll both be SJA!). So I'm going to get some cufflinks made with 'SJA' (cutout shape, not engraved squares etc). It's like one is him and one is me. :)

Corny I know lol. What's worse is I thought of that idea about 2 weeks after we started going out and it's stuck with me ever since. :D
  • I love the idea of giving him some socks so he doesn't get 'cold feet'. Definitely going to do that. But I will be getting him something extra as well, to say thank you for putting up with bridezilla and for all the hard work he's put in. The only question is what do you buy the man that has everything!

If anyone has got the cash, what about a boudoir photoshoot for him??

    http://www.fyeoportraits.com/home.asp

I'd love to do this but I haven't got the bottle lol

  • my friend did this and she and her hubby seemed v happy with it! I of course didnt see results!!!
  • We went and had a family portrait done last night locally (dont touch Venture - long story on consumer thread). For £20 we got the sitting done in a reportage style instead of the forced cheesy school photo style smile, and we have to go for a viewing tomorrow where we will get a free framed 7x5 photo and the option to upgrade or purchase more all at reasonable prices.

Would never have the (sober) bottle to do the boudoir pics unless they throw in free liposuction.

  • I'm getting him a ferrari to pick him up from his house, take him for a drive and then take him to the wedding venue, and I believe he's getting me some diamond jewelery to match my dress (well, i don't know for sure but he asked me what I wanted and that was all I could think of!).

I don't think you have to get each other anything, but as we are lucky enough to not be paying for the whole wedding ourselves I wanted to splash out on him a little!.

To be honest, the ferrari is for me as well as I am supercar mad and would love it to be around for photos!:T
Now a married lady and loving it! Now..to clear that pesky mortgage!
