Broken fridge freezer

I have a fridge freezer that is two years old and has just broken.

I contacted littlewoods whom i brought it off and they say its out of its 12 month warranty. And said that they state in their catalogue that all come with 12 month warranty or you purchase and extended warranty.

Servis, the make of the fridge freezer have gone into administration.

Surely you'd expect an item like this to last more than two years is there anything I can do?
