  • Why are you bothering? Forget it. Smack yourself in the head for being stupid and use the code for another order.

    No thanks.

    Anyone else?
  • Is it from a catalogue? e.g. Littlewoods

If so, I would have thought you could just return the stuff and then re-order it, assuming it isn't subject to any special conditions.

    Yes it is.

That is what I thought, but I was hoping to avoid having to send it back...
  • you may indeed cancel the order under the distance selling regulations up to 7 days from the day after you receive any goods ordered via the net or over a phone.

this is to give you the chance to inspect the goods as you would in a shop.

so if you receive the goods do not open them, contact the seller and cancel the contract, you may want to email them as this is a "durable medium" and they cannot deny its existence.

    then just order again

    simple

and i would say it is worth it for £25 so to others who say forget it, its not really in tune with this website is it? just dont repeat this mistake op as it is a rather silly one.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.
  • although their same day dispatch will probably be an excuse

How would it be an excuse, people pay a premium for this type of service.

As for the distance selling regs ..they are there for a reason, I.e to protect the consumer, and not to provide second chances for missed opportunity.
