Hi
I really don't believe there is anything I can do, I am a realistic person and know that I have put myself in this mess, but I am now stuck and really not sure what I can do if anything.
Ok so, starting from a young age I managed too get my self in to a fair bit of debt, i managed this but it just seemed to grow and well to be honest I just hid from it. I then got a new job and my new wage helped loads and I thought I had everything under control. I bought a property with my sister and we mover in together. It was a lovely new flat, which we lived in. It quickly became apparent to me that my debts were a problem when I realized that I could not consolidate again. I got advise (Not necessarily from the right place) and bought in to an IVA.
Here I will cut out a long and boring story that I think is irrelevant, but now I live in the flat alone, my sister has bought else where. The flat is in negative equity. Things for me on a day to day basis are affordable until the interest rates go up due to being on a tracker and not being able to fix.
Anyway, the problem. Where I live has dramatically gone down hill over the last year or so. Personally it is becoming unbearable to live in but not only that massive conflicts with work. Work have helped me the best they can, and I am on to the management company and authorities to sort some of the issues out. But this may not work due to the amount of problem flats in the estate and the fact other will have to take there place. Basically I really could do with moving. I have looked at renting this place out but don't feel i am that financially comfortable to do so, When the mortgage rises the rent wont cover the shortfall. Sorry to go on and I do understand in many ways I am very lucky and I have put my self in this possession but it is a real issue for me and I hope there is a way out.
Thank you for reading.
