Which of these would earn the most interest after one year with £2000 to invest

Hello,

can any of you tell me which of these two Natwest Savings Accounts currently on the Natwest Website would earn the most interest after one year with £2000 to invest initially & no withdrawals made:

The E-Savings account (not the E-Savings Plus), or the Reward Reserve Savings Account ??

Many thanks.

    Hi, welcome to MSE.

Based on the above you would earn slightly more in the E-Savings account
(E-Savings account 1.00% AER and the Reward Reserve Savings account 0.70% AER)

For alternative savings accounts with better interest rates you might want to take a look here Moneyfacts or Moneysupermarket

    !!!!!!?

You new the relative interest rates of the two accounts, and yet needed to post a question asking which one would give you more interest?

    I mean . . . oh, forget it. I can't be bothered . . . .

  • I just wondered why they had both of these savings accounts on Natwest thats all, no need to be nasty idiots about it. I just thought maybe I was I missing something & that the Reward Reserve actually worked out better.
  • Actually come to think of it you must live really boring lives if you went out of your way & took the time to leave those pointless comments.

But thank you anyway Ifts for being kind enough to take the time to post your reply, sorry about the other people's replies after yours.

Ok, they were a bit harsh but you did basically ask which was higher, 7 or 10.

You perhaps should have said that you wondered if you were missing anything obvious. As you wrote it, it looked like the sort of question a 4 year old should know the answer. It was sort of asking for the comments to be made. You stood up and waved a red flag saying come and get me.
