Thanks Cardew - I can confirm the start and end readings are correct however. *PC on the bill means Price Change (their price change) to indicate that they have billed correctly according to their rates at the times.
Yes, those prices are horrific. She got collared by one of those door-to-door salesmen and I think I'll be looking after this from now on for her!
Incidentally, with her moving house, I guess it advisable to have this sorted pronto? Is there any precedent for moving house and sorting disputes out once vacating a property?
I would try and get it sorted without mention of the impending move.
If she is an ex-customer there will be less 'goodwill'.0 -
put it in writing to their blended services team (correspondance) and ask for it to be dealt with as a complaint, im not sure of the address though. if you mention ombudsman or complaint they have to treat it as a complaint and pass it through to the complaints team.Debt free 3 years early :j
Savings for house deposit - very healthy
Cash back earnt so far £14.570 -
Hello
Just found this thread and I have been given a similar tale by Npower. Our gas use is minimal but we are paying a fortune. I was forwarded to the ebergysaving line (?) and they basically said the same thing and baffled me with figures.
I have no idea what to do next as they said oh it must be because your shower is attached to your boiler - how else would they expect us to get hotwater. Would the fact that the boiler takes ages to produce water have any bearing? If so I need to speak to landlady? The boiler was only tested 4 months ago.0
