Credit card cheques

I have a dilema. I need to get a £6000 loan, but want to pay it off very quickly (in the next 2 months), so I don't want to get a standard loan that ties you down to a year or more. I'd also like to get it as cheaply as possible!! I had an idea that I would pay the £6000 into my bank account using a credit card cheque, then pay off that credit card using one of the 0% on balance transfers cards.
Does anyone know of a credit card that does not charge for use of its cheques? Thanks in advance!

I've not seen any personally that have no charge. how much it is of course varies with when you got the card and who issues it etc. (for example my virgin card, which is quite old, has offered me cheques with only £35 max fee - some have a £50 max fee - these would be worth you looking into maybe).
Could you not get a card that will let you do SBTs to a current account?? (do egg still do it??)0 -
sorry ignore wrong thread0
