That will be Danish then. Hugely HUGELY cruel and unnecessary farming. I completely love and adore pork in all forms (bacon, sausages, loin, chops, leg, yum yum) but would rather starve full stop than contribute to the animal abuse that passes for the Danish Pig trade.
If you stopped eating battery chicken eggs/dirt cheap intensive farmed chickens after watching the Chicken programme on Channel 4, you won't want to be eating Danish Pork - they don't have lives they have tortured existences of hell (and I am not overstating it or being melodramatic - far far worse conditions than the chickens had).

Used to eat any old bacon till I saw a documentry about pork farming in the Usa and europe. The piggies do have a tortured time but what got my goat was how the big companies bribe governments and ruin local farm land and lives and get the law change so that they can spray pig crap anywhere (a pig poo's 10 times more than humans so imagine how much is being sprayed) It's happening in Eastern Europe now thanks to the Consumers...who are Tesco's Asda etc....not us.
