Aldi - cheap bacon

Aldi are currently sellling 4 packs of Bacon - smoked or unsmoked - for £2.49. I presume this is the normal price for 2 packs as the packaging states 100% extra free. Hope this helps someone as we love bacon in this house but the cost isn't normally moneysaving !

    sorry unsure whether it is Danish or British as have thrown the packaging away....

    However definately not full of water as we had some tonight and it was delish and didn't shrink in size!

    The label says: "Specially produced in the EU using EU pork...", and quotes a Pork content of 87%.

    Yes, people often say that to assure themselves when they probably know they've actually paid over the odds for something.

    You do "get what you pay for", but sometimes you pay too much!
