Hi all,
I opened 3 Halifax reward current account this month. and am thinking about moving £1K among the 3 accounts, like R1-R2-R3 (it is naughty, I know:rolleyes:)
My question is has anyone of you done the same and successfully received the £5 per account?
tks for your advice.

Yep, do it every month. Tesco - Halifax 1 then 2 then 3 and back to Tesco (via 3 Faster Payments). Stays in each account for all of a minute.
£5 credits each account on the 1st of the month. £15 for about 5 minutes.
We call it the Halifax Shuffle.
However, I did receive a letter today from Halifax which enclosed a Special Conditions leaflet. Not had time to fully take it all in. But there seems to be some mention that from 1st November you can only hold one Reward Account. But I think this only applies to new accounts.0 -

Correct, and £1K paying in a must again for new accounts.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after folk who use their account for the Halifax shuffle and close them to 1 account etc. I tend to keep money in it and use it for spend and even have a DD on the accounts- anything to keep under the radar so to speak! :rotfl:0 -
me and my oh have 3 between us, one in each name and a joint.0

Why not 3 each?0 -
Hi,
I was always under the impression that you could only hold one Reward current account, whether joint or singly.
I have 3 current accounts might consider upgrading the other 2 if this is allowed.0 -
The Lloyds Vantage shuffle is even better: 4% on £6500 in each (of 6) accounts.:j Best instant access rate around!0

The other thing to remember is it is £5 net of tax so actually the equivalent of £6.25 gross.0
