Why is gluten free food so expensive?

You would have to ask them to put it on a tray or something though as pizza is just done on the floor of the oven and you would get cross contamination. I wouldn't risk it. It's not worth it unless there is a huge group of you that are going and you would take one so she didn't feel left out. Just have it at home. We had pizza on saturday at home.
We have been to a italian restaurant who said they would cook things seperately but they didn't think twice to use the same pan without washing it for the sauce and hubby was ill. They had mixed normal pasta in the pan then our gluten free pasta that we had bought with us. We also had to cook it before hand and was still charged full price they only suppiled the sauce so it wasn't worth it.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys
