Hope someone can help.
Sometimes when I try to uninstall software (seems random, doesn't do it every time) I get a box saying 'please wait while windows configures bluetooth software' then it asks me to run setup.exe, I click cancel then I box comes up asking for BTW.msi, with the usual option to browse the hard drive for it or insert my widcomm bluetooth software CD (which I've never had).
If I click cancel it just starts all over again, does this about 10 times before it will let me cancel the uninstallation
I do have blueooth, the Logitech MX 900 which used widcomm bluetooth software.
I've tried downloading the BTW.msi but evertime I do it tells me it's corrupt, then it starts all over again.
I'm currently trying to uninstall whitesmoke, which is an extension for microsoft word.
So does anyone know how I can stop this from happening? It's driving me mad.

If you think it could be related to the mouse, try uninstalling the mouse and software that came with it from your computer. Then use a standard generic mouse and try uninstalling things.
If it doesnt work, you know its not the mouse/software.. if it does work, then try downloaded an updated driver off the internet for the mouse
