EBay - finding someone to sell on my behalf

I'd like to sell some stuff on ebay but have had so much hassle in the past with people not paying / collecting etc that I've just lost the will....

Anyway, I heard somewhere that there are approved people that can sell on your behalf and split the profits - do you know how I can find a contact and what the service is called?

I've looked on the ebay help pages but can't find anything so hope someone can help me please:o.

Tiddly

There use to be shops you take your stuff to and they sell on ebay on your behalf. If you google them you may get lucky. To be honest though depsite the hassle from some bad ebayers it better to sell your stuff yourself and cheaper.

I'm not a Trading Assistant, but I will sell stuff on other peoples behalf. I will under-cut any of the official TA's in the Colchester area considerabley.

Please bear in mind that most TA's charge 10% of the fvf, with a minimum of £10.00.

  • Hi,

I'm a bit too far away from you - I'm in Herfordshire, but this is what I'm looking for.
I have loads of stuff to sell but I really havent got on with the ebay thing, I just want shot of it but cant bear to give it away as it's good stuff, but i'd be happy with even a few quid a piece, better than it stuck in the garage/loft.
Most of it is smaller stuff than the £50 minimum but I'd be happy to split the profit to make it worthwhile.
Surely we could do a regional thing on here for smaller items?...
    Waddle you do eh?

Greenstuff, do you work?, if so, why not see if any of your workmates (or indeed freinds/relations/neighbours) have Ebay accounts. If so, they may be more than willing to sell for you.

If you want to sell without using Ebay, try craigslist or vivastreet.

Please no, can you imagine what a nightmare that would be.

I would even strongly urge users never ever to release their ebay IDs onto a forum like this where anyone can read it.

Also I think this rule should be mentioned here

    EXCHANGING PERSONAL DETAILS

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email .

No of course I didnt mean giving out personal details, with a little common sense it could be easily and safely executed, I give a lot away on freecycle, thats regional for instance, but yes I can see it tuning into a bit of a drama..
Patman, Thank you, I have asked around but no joy, I work in a Gym and nobody there is particularly computer savvy!
Someone I asked did say they had a flier round with someone offering to do it but they couldnt find it, typical.
I shall keep trying or just put that effort into getting on with it myself!
    Thanks everyone
