Tried to order Sky HD last night and was told that in Northern Ireland they were unable to give appointments for installation but would ring back tonight.
They did---and the date would be---MID-JULY--and better still I would have to pay £299 tonight to have the privlige to wait---has anyone else similar treatment. Many Thanks.:cool:

There is a shortage of SKY HD boxes at the moment , with the world cup around the corner sales have shot up, this was mentioned on Sky News yesterday0

Its not surprising is it? You have been able to order sky HD for a couple of months but they have only just started fitting it. Even if there wasnt a shortage of the boxes you would still expect at least a months wait if you only ordered today.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

GMTV did a bit on this a few weeks back saying how people buyeing HD televisions werent able to get them connected until mid July - I found this pretty bizarre at the time!Weight Loss - 102lb0
