Evening guys and gals!
Just want to pick your brains,
At my old uni and my boyfriends uni they gave an academic diary on enrolment (packed with useful info too as a bonus). However at Manchester Met I've never seens any.
Has anyone noticed recently any cracking deals on them in any stationary shops or blagged one from a uni that they don't need? It doesn't need to be big (and funkiness is a bonus). As last year I ended up forking out £6 on one (not very money saving at all!)
Thank you!

The works has lots for 75p-£2 depending on the size. I got a free diary from uni in my first year but haven't got one since.0

Have you checked in your SU?
Mine give out free diaries and wall planners but they don't seem to advertise the fact.0 -
Oh thanks guys, I hadn't even considered any of those options!
I'll ask at the SU on Tuesday, failing that The works or poundland sounds like a good plan. I know we have those in my home town! :j:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I've had the same problem! Looked everywhere in town today for an academic diary - the works was the only place that had one and it was A4. I just want a small one i can keep in my bag - can't find one anywhere!0

I got a pink one with wellies on it from poundland. The pages are made out of tracing paper though, but does the job for £1! :-):kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I got one from poundland last year with birds on. It's an A5 18 month one. Just wondering if everyone's doesn't have the days printed in it? Mine doesn't, presumably so they can print a massive load and sell them for years. It's good except for that though0
