How do you know that you have 900 registry errors (i.e. what is telling you that you have)?

The reason I ask is because a popup telling you this sort of thing is a very common sign of scareware - malware that tells you about bogus errors in order to sell you software to "fix" it.

before running any repair tools on the item, i suggest you backup your registry, or your entire system.
To backup your registry i suggest the freeware ERunt http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
creates a folder with the date your backed it up. so it you ran it today it would be 18-09-09
Then download malwarebytes antispyware remover 1.41 http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php install, update and run, if it finds anything click the FIX button and then reboot, re-run and double check all is fine.
next, Download hijackthis 2.0.2 http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/ run this and create a log file, post log file here, so someone " alienrik " can tell you what to remove if anything.

Your computer will never popup saying you have whatever registry errors as there is no registry cleaner built into windows. so its definately spyware and if that "rundall" <is correct spelling then that would 2nd that thought, as it should be something similar to this RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup <graphics driver,
you could download a freeware program called autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and go through the items in the LOGIN tab, these are items which are started at startup, to disable just remove the ticks.
NOTE: only do the items with /run and /startup do not touch the /userinit and /shell
  • Give Malwarebytes a go at cleaning the guff from your system. Too new to post a link so google it.
