Total household income ?

  • Ok, as it's in joint names then you will have to put it on yr SOA.

As I mentioned in yr other thread you can then offset it by the childminding / nursery fees.

    Hi Crowman,

We too receive tax credits and child benefit. Both myself and my OH went BR, so we both had to produce an SOA each. I have posted these below, with a joint version (which isn't acceptable to the OR) which will hopefully show how the figures work out. Each has the total of joint expenses, plus individual ones, such as Denplan which can differ, but you will see that in all three cases the surplus is exactly the same :)

    .

Not exactly, this is what i did on my forms, i added them as my OH's cotribution to the household as they where paid to her.

I then added a note to the further info bit saying she got them, but i did not specify the amount.

    It was never questioned.

BUT mine was a simple case, and an IPA was never going to happen, so that may be why.

But i was honest and above board, as i entered it on the forms as the question was worded, and offered info i frankly did not have to, and left it up to the examinor to question it;)
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(
  • As my income was made up of entirely benefits I put mine down as a contribution. But where it stated what state benefits oh rec'd, I put the total of HB, CT, CB & half CTC then added my contribution from the rest.
