Hi
Am new to this, so bear with me if i go on, but i will try and cut a very long story short.
In November last year, i purchased tickets to see PINK at the Nottingham arena through a company called SEE tickets. I did this via phone on the special fan concert pre-order day as the internet systems had crashed.
On the phone i spoke to gentleman and booked 3 SEATING tickets for the event.
During this time, his system crashed, but he told me that my order had gone through and rest assured i would get the best seating tickets available.
My tickets arrived roughly 6 weeks ago, and i have been issued with 3 STANDING tickets.
I have spoken to the company SEE tickets on several occasions, E-mailed them and have written a letter of complaint.
All they can do is fully refund the tickets as there are no seating tickets left.
I am very upset as this is a gig i really want to go to, however i can not have standing tickets as i am so small and can not see anything.
I have explained this to SEE tickets, i have told them i do not want a refund i want seating tickets, but they state they can not do a thing.(even though one operator told me that i would be re-issued with tickets that they usually give to competion winners)
SEE tickets have admitted to me that it is their error.
Is there anyway i can take this further to get the tickets i want?
I really hope someone can help me, as i do not want to miss out.
Thanks

i hate to say it but if there is no physical seats left in the venue then they cant give you seats, which is why i assume that they have offered the money back. even if they locate a recording of your phone booking, and the staff member made a mistake then they cant create seats that dont exist and they wouldnt take someone else out of theres.
Also when booking over the phone, did you not give them your email address as many agents send out email confirmation even if booked over the phone - if so did you check what they allocated at the time on the email?
Have you checked to see if there are definatly no seats available (even from other sources ticketmaster, venue etc) because if other agents have tickets you can buy that are seating the one way around it is to take the refund they have offered and to buy the seated tickets elsewhere with the refund.
you dont say how short you are, i am 5ft and my friend is 4ft 11 and we have had standing tickets on a few occasions (pink, nickleback, robbie williams, etc) . trick is to stand further back so you are not right at the front, and you have a gap between you and the people in front and can usually see over, alternativly get there very early and get a good standing position and dont budge from there, or if they have the sound engineers in the middle like they do at a lot of standing concerts, stand to the side of them or right in front and you have a good veiw usually. Plus with the tv screens etc pink has then if you loose site of her for a short while, you can still see from that.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
I agree, even with standing tickets you can get a good view. I'm not that tall and nearly always get standing tickets. With seats people tend to stand anyway so often you're no better off. In fact, you can be worse off as you can't then move away from the tall git that is blocking your way!!0

Hi, meatball 170, whatever you do, don't miss the concert. If you haven't already seen it it is fantastic and as *manda* says, you won't be sitting down even if you have a seat!
