Lidl hedge clippers question

Have Lidl any in stock? If not, is there a particular time in the year they sell these?

Also, has anybody ever purchased Lidl's cheapest clippers and what was your opinion of them?

Thanks.

  • They don't seem to have a time of year, just every so often they'll have garden equipment and plants, you just have to keep an eye out.

We've had the secatuers and shears before. Shears are fine but secatuers fall apart with anything more than moderate use, suppose they'll be OK if you just want to prune a few roses twice a year though!

I'm sure there will be loads of people that disagree with me, but in my experience, any tools, whether electric or hand are absolutely rubbish from Lidl, don't work properly, do a bad job, or break easily.
They do give refunds with no problem though, so maybe it's worth a go for you, but after taking back loads of stuff, I now give it a miss.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check Lidl occasionally. I've used the £1 secueters a lot this year and as you say, they are okay for "moderate use".

My Argos bought shears (cheapest) barely last 1-2 years so I had wondered whether to pay less at Lidl next time but it sounds that there are mixed opinions about these.
