Personal anti-virus removal

Hi there

Im a bit of a technofobe and foolishly downloaded the Personal anti-virus software as I thought it was a new programme related to my own virus protection. Does anybody know of a site were I can get software to remove it or know how I could remove it myself, although I hear this is quite complicated.

Is this the rogue antivirus programme that has downloaded onto your PC/laptop and is asking for payment to remove so callerd viruses it has found?

If so download malwarebytes, when you have downloaded malwarebytes please update it first before running a scan.

Thats the one. I have Norton but Ive been told that its not the best even though I was advised it was buy the people at P.C. world.

The same thing happened to me this week.

Thanks to the advice on here I was able to get it removed also.

My advice is NEVER listen to PC World and NEVER take your pc there either
