How do I put a Word document into a folder?

I did do a search inserting various key words in the search engine but nothing came up - so sorry if this has been asked before.

I have created several Word documents which are sitting in "My Documents" - I have Windows XP service pack 3. I've created a new folder and called it "computer tips" :rotfl: and I want to transfer the documents into that folder. I've searched Windows Help/Support but couldn't find an answer.

Thanks for that, though it was not me who asked. I am fairly incompetent and think I have done well if I mange to change my desktop background. (with the help of google) So a good tip for me too.
