Feeling slighltly left out now so I thought I would start my own (although I'm not sure what people write as I've not ready any of the other date threads as I felt like a sham as i'm Nov 10!)
Any other Nov 2010's out there?
I'm 5th Nov.

Hi, I'm a November 2010 bride too, my date is going to be 06/11/10!
How's everyone getting on? We haven't done anything yet, although we have the forms coming this week to book the church formally! And forms to open a joint wedding account! But thats it!
Next on the list will be marquee quotes! Lots of Brides on the October 2010 thread have done loads so i think i should be doing a bit more!0 -
we have done a little bit, have booked registry office, reception venue, wedding cars and photographer. have paid deposits on them all apart from photographer but thats about it!
going dress shopping after xmas when hopefully i will have lost a bit of weight!!
how is everyone else getting on?0 -
We've done the following
- venue booked with food agreed, and timings
- Registrar booked but we cant do anything more until it's less than a year to go
- Dress ordered with meaurements taken, shoes bought
- Fireworks booked
- Band booked.
- Table decorations bought and stored.
- Honeymoon booked - ROmantic luxury cottage on the isle of Skye
- Going to confirm flowers in a couple of weeks time
Everything else we know what we want and where were getting it from, its just a case of booking and paying the deposits.0 -
Yup - 13th Nov 2010 :j
Chosen and provisionally booked our venue, just need to chat to caterers and registrar to confirm all is ok then will pay the deposit. Thoroughly excited! And only been enaged a month so don't think we're doing too badly

A year today I will be supping champers whilst having my hair done!
I can finally do something about giving notice to marry too, so I have made an appointment at our local reg office to give notice.
It seems so near but yet so far0 -
Now that our wedding is less than a year it feels alot more real now.
We had a bit of a planning weekend and have sorted the following
We have booked to give notice at the end of December.
Ordered the flowers from a lovely helpful florist is Scarborough. I'm having a Carmen rose for my bouquet which is lots of rose petals pinned together to make one large rose. I've seen some pictures of beautiful ones and pics of awful ones and as th eflorist hadnt made one in some time she made one up especially for me to show she could do it and to see what it was like. It was amazing.
We went for a meal at the hotel we're getting married in and it was fantstic, the service was great and the food delicious. The manager went out of his way for us, at first I thought it was because they were trying to impress but he was like that with all the guests. It's only a 21 bedroom hotel so they have the time to give the service.
We tried on some wedding rings to get an idea of what we want and price (even plain and simple is expensive!)
Next on the list is booking the cheese wedding cake and sortign out the rings before gold goes up in price anymore0 -
