Cleaning off rust from UPVC Windows

We accidentally left a scraper blade on the outside window sill of our new UPVC windows (white).
I've tried Cif to get this off but it's still there. Any other ideas? Hope I can remove it!! Seems pretty engrained to me ....
Thanks all

Try some WD40 first..then progress onto meths if that doesn't work. White spirit may work too. If all else fails i'd resort to a piece of the finest grade of "between coats" sandpaper you can find (it's almost like rubbing with plain paper!) and very gently sand it out with that - hopefully the other solvents will work though.
