SPYWARE QUAKE AAARRRGGGHHH please help

hi, i have been infected with spyeware quake...
i have a little green disabled icon flashing telling me my computer is infected.
i have tried smit rem, ewido and all the fixes i can find on google.
but i am not a techie and its still there after 3 days.
spysweeper says its detected it and put it quaranteen...but its still thereafterwards
any ideas on what to do.

dissable System Restore (right-click My Computer>properties>system restore... tick the box. click OK.
restart in Safemode http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm and scan your PC using Spysweeper and anyother antiviruse/spyware/adware removing peograms you have.

if you know the Filename, after doing the scans in safemode, find the file manualy and delete it manualy if its still there

restart and it should be alright. re-enabel system restore
